We arrived to see a full load of mulch ready for scouts, shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows.
Zeke identified on a map where the mulch was to be distributed. The trail was lined for that distance.

Wheelbarrows and scouts are ready for another truck of mulch.
This is a "before" picture showing the lined trail.

Zeke is giving last minute instructions to one of his volunteer scouts.
The scouts kept the wheelbarrows full as they emptied truckload after truckload.

Max is on his way with another load of mulch.
At the far end of the trail, Zeke supervises the first mulch delivery.

Scouts took turns at the differnt jobs at both ends of the trial, loading, moving, dumping, and spreading the mulch.
After the mulch was deposited and spread the scouts disappeared as they moved onto the upper part of the trail.

The Reston Association supplied two trucks that each were filled three times.
The job on the truck was to keep the mulch loading onto the carts and wheelbarrows.

As soon as one truck was emptied another showed up full.
The scouts kept the wheelbarrows moving.

Here are most of the scouts and scouters who helped Zeke carry out his Eagle Project on June 14, 2003. What a bunch!
The project for this day is almost complete, as the scouts reach the front of the trail.

As the crew helping Zeke unloaded the last truckload of mulch, other scouts started cleaning up the area.
During the entire time, snacks, drinks, and water were available for any hungry or thirsty scout!

The trailhead is dressed with fresh mulch. it looks inviting. A Restonian using the newly mulched trail took a moment to say thank you to Zeke and his able bodied crew!
The freshly muched trail is ready for use thanks to Zeke's Eagle Project, his crew, and the Reston Association!
